COVID-19 Safety Precautions

The safety of our clients/patients is our top priority. Our COVID safety policies and procedures exceed the recommendations of the CDC, OSHA, and our local Health Departments. With information rapidly changing related to COVID-19, we have been and will continue to closely monitor these agencies for updates to safety guidelines.

Below are some of our safety measures:

  • Patients/clients are asked to come alone for their visit. If anyone requires assistance, we must pre-authorize someone to accompany them.
  • We are performing COVID-19 pre-screening for all appointment bookings.
  • All staff and patients/clients will be pre-screened for COVID-19 and have their temperature checked with a contact-free thermometer before entering our center, each and every time.
  • We have increased our cleaning/disinfecting efforts and frequency. We are using EPA registered cleaning products recommended for COVID-19.
  • In addition to manual cleaning/disinfecting, we will also be using a UV-C Surface Sterilization unit to sanitize treatment rooms in between appointments.
  • All treatment rooms equipped with a HEPA/UV air cleaner.
  • We are utilizing medical grade HEPA MERV-13 filters with our central air conditioning system.
  • We have installed an array of touch-free equipment such as motion sensor light switches, faucets, soap, paper towel, and hand sanitizer dispensers.
  • We have implemented physical distancing standards and have signage and floor decals reminding patients and staff of best safety and hygiene practices.
  • Pillows, magazines, retail products and any other frequently touched unnecessary items have been removed to prevent the spreading of contagions. Retail will still be available for purchase but most of our inventory will be stored in closed containers behind the reception counter.
  • We offer contact-free forms of payment and accept all major credit cards and now also accept Apple Pay.
  • All patients are required to arrive with a face mask or cloth face covering and must wear it for the duration of their appointment.
  • We have set occupancy limits and have our staff on staggered schedules to minimize the number of people in any area at one time.
  • We have Telemedicine options for patients that are unable to come for an in person visit.
  • We have herbal supplements and retail products available for purchase from our new Online Shop. Curbside pick-up and shipping options available.
  • All staff will be thoroughly trained on and adhering to our new strict safety guidelines and procedures.
  • All staff will be wearing scrubs and appropriate PPE.
