Reflexology is a therapeutic method in which pressure is applied to specific points on the feet and/or hands that correspond to particular organs and regions of the body. In reflexology it is believed that there are a system of zones and reflex points on the hands and feet that reflect and relate to the entire body and its organs. By stimulating these zones and reflex points, reflexology is able to cause positive physical changes to the body. In addition to being very relaxing, reflexology can help balance the body’s energy system, boost immunity, improve circulation and reduce pain and stress.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle technique that compliments the body’s intuitive healing processes via the craniosacral system (comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord). Using a soft touch, often about the weight of a nickel, practitioners aim to release restrictions and create balance to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. CST is derived from osteopathic medical tradition and is increasingly used as a form of preventive healthcare, as well as a treatment for a wide range of health concerns, including headaches and migraines, chronic neck pain, central nervous system disorders, concussions, chronic fatigue, emotional imbalances, TMJ disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD and more.

SomatoEmotional Release (SER) is an advanced technique of CST which offers a way to more deeply understand the needs of our body by bringing together dialogue and bodywork. Treatments help to make connections to physical and emotional traumas that may be lodged in our tissue providing a greater balance in mind, body and spirit. Using verbal cues to tap in to our own inner wisdom and memory in combination with gentle touch to monitor for changes to the craniosacral system, the practitioner provides support for the client so that they can recall experiences and allow them to process them out of the body. SER does not require a re-experiencing of a painful incident, but rather offers a way to allow our nervous system and myofascial system to fully process things that verbal or physical therapies alone may not be able to reach. A “release” may or may not occur depending on what each person and their system are ready for, but these occurrences may include spontaneous movement, tears, laughter, tingling, warmth, lightness, visualizations or other sensations.

Arvigo Therapy is an abdominal massage treatment which aims to create an environment of homeostasis in the pelvic region and stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself. By re-aligning reproductive and abdominal organs into their appropriate anatomical positions, breaking up soft tissue adhesions (such as scar tissue), increasing blood flow to the pelvic region and remove excess pressure from blood and lymph vessels in the area, Arvigo sessions can dramatically improve the functionality of the structures and systems of our core. Arvigo Therapy is used to treat both women and men with issues such as infertility, fibroids, IBS, endometriosis, organ prolapse, ED, digestive concerns and emotional imbalance, though it can greatly benefit many other conditions both common and complex. Due to the sensitive and moving nature of this work, clients can sometimes experience emotional effects during or after treatment. Arvigo sessions also provide instruction to educate clients how to use this therapy as self-care, allowing them to take their healing into their own hands. For additional information on the ancient practice of Arvigo, please visit the official website here.
